In the context of Dominique White's exhibition Abandon[ed] Vessel, Kevin Space invites to Notes on Black Futurity. Conceived as a loose compilation of research material—books, music, documentaries, a readinglist and magazines—, the event offers different perspectives on the nautical myths of Black Diaspora, Afrofuturism and Black Radical Thought. Notes on Black Futurity is set up as a four hours listening session based on a playlist compiled by the artist including the genres Ghettotech, Detroit Techno, Electronic and Minimal techno.
